Wasatch Men and boys of Leather is please to announce the creation of the Utah Leather Education Weekend and Development Conference. WaMboL President Sir Creig has been named as the Producer of the event that will be held annually in August.
The L.E.W.D. Conference will provide the Utah Leather community with a weekend of social activities, leather leadership discussions, and educational seminars presented by kinksters from around the globe. The inaugural event will take place on Saturday, August 11th from 5:00 PM -9:00 PM at Club Tryangles in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The event is taking the place of the cancelled Utah Rebellion which formerly was the Utah Leather event.
L.E.W.D. Is a completely separate event, put on by active members of the Leather and Kink communities and has no ties to the Utah Rebellion or its producers. The goal of L.E.W.D. is to provide a safe and judgement free environment for people to have open dialogue and to learn more about what is going on in the BDSM community at large. There will be hands on demonstrations, panel discussions, and a bar night for participants to get to know the leaders in our community.
Future L.E.W.D. conferences will offer workshops in preparing potential contest candidates for the Rocky Mountain LeatherSIR / boy and Rocky Mountain Community Bootblack contest held annually in Denver colorado and will also feature local and regional vendors specializing in kink and the D/s lifestyle.
